The meal was fantastic and the service was beyond the normal call of duty. I would love to give this place more than 5 stars! Had the squid and the duck which can be nitirously hard to cook. They were both so tender and juicy! All other menu items were equally amazing.

This restaurant had been recommended to us as being something special with fabulous food. It was all that and more. It has a cosy, inviting atmosphere and we were looked after beautifully. Our daughter enjoyed a meal from the impressive kids menu, a quality piece of steak, and we ordered the lamb shoulder to share. It was stunning, full of flavour and it fell off the bone. It was a generous meal for 2 people. The duck fat potatoes were delicious as were the sides of vegetables. Sadly we didn't have any appetite left for dessert. We dined out a number of times in Wanaka over Easter but this meal was the pick of the bunch, truly fabulous food. We are looking forward to returning.

We came last night to have dinner with friends and had such an amazing night! Everything about it was awesome - the company, the service and the food! It was so relaxed and we really appreciated that - but the food!!! We had the lamb, which is incredible - but everyone enjoyed their meals and no one left dissatisfied. Even paying the bill is easy because it is already separated by customer!! Thank you
